Aquopolis vattenland

I’ve been to this water park a few times and it’s been excellent. The ground does get extremely hot so make sure you take your flip flops with you !! Sadly there were 4 out of the 8 rides closed when we visited yesterday which did kill the mood a bit, it also made the queues for the remaining rides pretty horrendous. We have done fast passes before but never really experienced mega queues, you also can’t use fast passes on all of the rides. They would have been handy yesterday! We bought our tickets from tiqets website which is fine and usually discounted. We paid about €23 each

We had a really nice day here. They have a lot of grass/shaded areas to lay out your towels/picnic blankets, and lounge chairs. The VIP/private areas seemed really nice and we found the all inclusive pass was worth it. The ONLY issue I had is that the ride waiting lines were not well suited for fast passes. There was no separation for fast passes, no sign or anything telling us where the fast lane was so our options were to wait regular line in most of the slides or arbitrarily cut the line which may cause problems with those already in line. As it was, when we got to the front of one of the lines, one of the staff said we could go ahead of a few others waiting and they were all asking why they allowed us to go ahead of them. Again, b/c there were no signs/separation for fast passes, it would seem unfair to anyone. Nonetheless, the day went fast and the kids had a blast. I would recommend this for a fun day out with the kids.

Today we visited Aquopolis Torrevieja, and it was one of the biggest disappointments I’ve had at any water park. We paid €110 for admission for two adults and one child. On top of that, we spent another €230 for the Platinum VIP package, expecting a premium experience. What we actually received was the complete opposite. The “VIP cabin” was nothing more than a dirty wooden shack. It was full of spider webs, spiders, and wasps. The sunbeds were filthy, clearly not cleaned, and the entire VIP area was located far away from the main attractions, making it completely inconvenient. The Platinum package was supposed to include Speed Pass access to every attraction. That simply wasn’t true. We waited in exactly the same queues as everyone else who had paid for a regular ticket. There was no real advantage whatsoever. The Speed Pass is nothing more than a marketing gimmick designed to convince people to spend more money. We were also given three wristbands that supposedly allowed us to order three food or drink items every hour. When we ordered three meal menus, we were unexpectedly asked to pay an additional €21. Nobody explained this in advance. Another unpleasant surprise. There was no genuine VIP treatment, no priority that made any noticeable difference, and absolutely nothing that justified paying an extra €230. The Platinum VIP package is, in my opinion, a complete waste of money. We paid hundreds of euros extra and received nothing that matched what was advertised. I don’t mind paying for quality, but I do mind paying for promises that are not delivered. Charging people for a premium experience while providing dirty facilities, misleading benefits, and no real priority is unacceptable. I left feeling deceived, ripped off, and frustrated. Save your money. Buy a regular ticket if you really want to visit, but don’t make the mistake of paying for Platinum VIP. Based on my experience, it’s simply not worth it.
